Literary Cafè: Remembering James Baldwin One of the Pioneering Literary Voices in our Community

Participating authors will give a a presentation discussing their work(s) and a brief memory or tribute to James Baldwin.


Participate as an Author

We seek the participation of exceptional authors who would like to showcase their work to a diverse audience. We ask that each author give a five (5) minute presentation discussing their work(s) and close with a brief memory or tribute to James Baldwin. We also ask that each author remain until the end of all presentations to participate in a group question and answer session with attendees.

The Center for Black Equity is committed to diversity and extends this invitation to authors from all walks of life and ethnicities. If you are interested in participating please submit your bio and a list of your materials for the presentation by March 15, 2018 using this form. Selected authors will be notified by April 1, 2018. Those selected will receive a special rate to exhibit during the weekend.
